Admission Policy
Before applying for admission, we ask that both parents carefully study the school's information packet and visit the school to observe a class. Applications are not accepted until the parents have visited the school. Five-year-old and elementary students first visit a class before applying. During this visit the teacher will work with and observe the student in order to determine whether the student can be successful in our environment. Please call our office at 847-634-0430 to make an appointment. Upon making the decision that you would like a Montessori education for your child, request an application from the school secretary. Complete and return it with a $50.00 non-refundable application fee. At the time of acceptance, a reservation deposit will be required. This deposit assures a place for your child and is credited toward tuition. It is not refundable.

Our policy is to enroll students in the order in which applicants are received. We give preference to our students' siblings, and to children transferring from other Montessori schools outside our normal service area. Consideration is given to maintaining a balance of ages and gender in each class. Students are admitted with the understanding that their parents intend to continue
enrollment throughout the program the school offers.

Transportation
Transportation to and from school is provided by parents of enrolled students or caregiver. A directory of children in each class is available to parents who wish to form car pools. We request that this directory not be used for
anything other than school related business.

Field trips and going-out transportation is provided by parents of enrolled students, caregivers and/or staff.

Visitors are always welcome at the Montessori School of Long Grove. Please call 847-634-0430 for an appointment to visit our school. We are eager to meet you, show you our school and answer your questions.
